Re: INDIA RUBBER EXPO 2011
PRIM is organizing a delegation to attend the India Rubber Expo 2011 in Chennai from 18th-23rd Jan 2011, This is claimed to be the 2nd largest rubber expo in the world. In conjunction with the Expo there will be a Conference and Workshops - including a 2-day workshop on Tyre Mechanics by Dr Marion Pottinger, President Emeritus of the Tyre Society, USA and teaches the University of Akron Tyre Mechanics Course . The details are attached with the flyer.
Fees and travel information are also included in the flyer. Participation is open to the first 20 deposit-paid registrations or by 24th December 2010, whichever comes first. A deposit of RM1000/ pax is required to secure our flight tickets.
PRIM has also been offered exhibition space at a discounted rate. This exhibition space will be shared among PRIM Patrons/ Members. The participation fee for exhibitors will be communicated later once we have the numbers. Please register your interest with PRIM NO LATER THAN 17TH DECEMBER 2010. On last day in visit rubber factory in Chennai and/ or city tour we suggest visiting Mahabalipuram, which actually is a very nice place and world heritage site also. In the morning after breakfast from hotel we will take the group to Mahabalipuram (about 60km, one and a half hours drive). This is a world heritage site. Lunch will be at a hotel in Mahabalipuram. Return to Chennai city will be late afternoon. Then visit to Kapaleswara Temple, Santhome Church and pass thru Marine Drive, Fort St George. After Dinner transfer to airport to catch the MH Flight.
